Since opening the DC location in 1990, Lebanese Taverna Restaurant is one of the most popular restaurants in the Metropolitan area. The high domed ceilings, lush upholstery, and hand carved walnut accents were carefully chosen for comfort and enjoyment.

When weather permits, the Café is open and you can al fresco and watch the street scene. There are many shops and other restaurants in the neighborhood, as well as two large hotels, so this bustling neighborhood has a cosmopolitan flair.

Large Groups and Private Dining

The restaurant is on the right hand side in the middle of the 2600 block on Connecticut Ave. N.W. That is the first block after crossing Rock Creek going toward Bethesda. The Metro Stop for the Zoo and Woodley Park is directly across the street.

Parking

There is ample street parking along Connecticut Avenue. We also have underground parking arrangements for nights and weekends. Turn right on Woodley Road and make the first right into the alley behind the storefronts. Go about 50 yards to the blue down ramp and the parking lot. The attendant will give you a ticket that you can validate after your meal. Use the elevator up to the street. The Taverna is on your immediate right.
