With various summer parties and the kids off from school, now is the time to plan a private cooking class with your kids and their friends. We even offer a kids menu: Pizza, Chicken Fingers, Hommos and Macaroons dipped in Chocolate. Organize a class for your little one today! You can also organize a cooking class to learn a variety of our refreshing Lebanese salads and cold platters to satisfy the palate. It's a great idea for a bridal shower, girl's night out or just a get together with some friends. Take advantage of summer, come relax and have fun in one of our cooking classes. See you soon! Lebanese Taverna Cooking Classes are given at our market in Arlington and in our café in Annapolis. The menu is the same in both locations all month long, so choose which class works best for you! Join us and dine in Washington DC, Pentagon Row and Tysons Galleria locations, all have beautiful alfresco dining.  Did you know we have a café in Annapolis?? As the weather gets warmer, Annapolis is an ideal location to take the family for the day. Check out the water, boats and historical parts of Annapolis. After a long day walking around, come in for your favorite dish. Craving the Lamb Shank or need to have Hommos, stop by Annapolis Harbour Center. Come in on Fridays and Saturdays starting in May for a sampling of our wonderful wine selections. See which wines compliment our foods at the Market. Buy it by the case and get a 10% discount, mix and match if you like. Do you have more parsley in your backyard than you know what to do with? Make some Tabouleh! It is a wonderfully refreshing salad for the summer. Parsley is a great antioxidant, packs lots of dietary fiber and is high in Vitamin A and Iron. With the warm weather and sun shining, now is the time to plan an event. When you're sitting at your desk, wishing you were outside playing and celebrating, think of Lebanese Taverna. With the fresh scent of the Spring cherry blossoms and the ever lengthening spring evenings, we suggest a fabulous spicy and fresh wine, Gruner Veltliner from Austria. Wine guru Anton Bauer recommends that is complement fish and lighter fare dishes. You can enjoy this wine at the market for ($13) and the restaurants for $27. For a rich and velvety red to complement red meat dishes (especially our kebabs off the barbecue),we recommend the Fairview Shiraz from the Cape in South Africa.
