Location: Lebanese Taverna Café, 2478 Solomons Island Rd, Annapolis, MD

Time: 2:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Menu:

Baba Ghannoug –roast eggplant pureed with tahini, lemon juice and garlic

Avocado Salad- a LT Market favorite!! Fresh avocado tossed with onions, peppers, tomato, scallions in a garlic-lemon dressing

Chicken Shawarma- designed for your kitchen, marinated chicken breast sautéed and served with our famous garlic sauce (recipe included)

Basmati Rice- Basmati rice with vermicelli

Baklava-Lebanese Taverna Style- Forget your idea of overly sweet, sticky baklava- ours is a flaky phyllo dough in between crushed nuts and coated in a simple syrup

Vegetarian Substitution:

Artichoke Stew-You’ll never look at artichokes the same! A wonderful stew served over basmati rice

Cost: $60.00 per person

Confirmation of Registration: Please note that your online registration request or phone message must be acknowledged with a confirmation call or email from us before your registration is complete.

Cancellation Policy: Due to the high demand for our classes we cannot always honor everyone’s request for registration. We count on you to fill your spot in the class – so if your plans change, and you cannot attend, PLEASE send a friend instead, as we will still have to charge your credit card.

Private Classes: We hold private classes for eight or more people. They are a great way to celebrate a special occasion, team building experience or group activity! You choose the menu and the date and we’ll try to make it happen. Private classes are usually held at the Lebanese Taverna Market in Arlington, VA. Price is $60.00 per person.

Gift Certificates: Need a perfect gift? Purchase a gift certificate for a Cooking Class. Gift certificates are redeemable for one year after the purchase date. To purchase or redeem your certificate, please call (703) 841 1562.
